June Round-Up 2020

And just like that, we've completed the first half of the year. Part of me is really happy about that because 2020 has been wild, however each time a month goes by it just reminds me of how short life is. Wow I didn't mean to make that slightly depressing....
Anywayssss, here is my round-up of June 2020. ENJOY

Let Go and Let God

During this time of self-isolation, God has been revealing so much to me about my life and my character. At the start of lock-down I prayed to God and asked him to change me, so that I would leave a different person to how I was when all this started. It is so important to regularly evaluate yourself and make the necessary improvements so that as Christians we look more like Christ. Even if you're not a Christian, self evaluation and improvement is important. Change is good and everyone should aspire to grow. One thing God has been really showing me is how important it is to let go. I knew this prior to the lock-down and one of my goals for 2020 is to 'Let go and Let God'. I've always been someone who worries and stresses but I made it a goal this year to change that. God works in mysterious ways and I had no idea that He was going to use quarantine as a way to help me achieve so many goals. Today I thought I would share some of the things God has shown me about letting go.

Dear 25 Year Old Self

When I started this blog, I was 16 and one of the first posts I remember being really proud of writing was a letter to my 12 year old self. I re-read that post recently and was inspired to write one for the future me. If there is any good time to do it, it's during a period where the whole world is forced to stop and humble themselves. I've had a lot of time to really thank God for the way he has built my life and it makes me look forward to blessings yet to come. Since my previous letter was to myself 5 years in the past, it made sense to make this one 5 years into the future. So, here we go.

Summer Bucket List 2020

Every year since I started this blog (4 years ago - wow), I have shared my summer bucket list. I like to share my goals and plans for the summer time and tick them off as I complete them. I wasn't sure whether to create a bucket list for this year, due to the virus and it's effects on my plans, however I truly believe you don't need to be out and about to try new things and meet goals. Although my original plans have changed, I decided to re-make it and share it regardless. If you want to know what things I would like to do this summer, just keep reading.
